What the reaction of the girl when she loves some one he not used to talk to girls?

i love a girl in my cl in college and she know me but we dont have a relation our realation is very formal and iwant to break the ice betwen us how can i do the .and she talked to me one time and ask me why iam not talkin to girls and she told me to talk to pepole and to be open and i cant talked to her i am very shamed when i see her. sorry about my speling.
