After i thawed turkey today i placed in fridge ?

im a first time turkey maker and i thawed my 10 pound turkey out in the sink with no water and it feels thaw ...i put it in my fridge so it will keep cool but im gonna start baking it atleast at 5 or 6 am so it can be ready for lunch...did i ruin it? its still in the bag or do i take it out of the bag to place it in fridge
