Why should school prayer be allowed in school and/or why not?

I have nothing against *individuals* praying while at school if they choose to do so. It becomes a problem when prayer is a school-endorsed or even school-mandated activity. Religion is a very personal thing, and neither schools nor the government have any business meddling in it.
