How can u differentiate indonesian from a malaysian??

because these 2 countries share similar cultures and identical faces, just like thais and cabodians, though I must say I suck at guessing what asian nationality an asian is, except filipinos which i can tell coz they look different they look pacific islanders and Latinos like my filo friends....
